NADRA announces to open offices across the country from Monday

National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) offices across the country will open on Monday, May 4.

NADRA has issued instructions for the offices to be opened from May 4, according to which the offices will be open from 10 am to 4 pm on Monday to Thursday and office hours will be from 10 am to 1 pm on Friday.

According to the statement, the NADRA Center must call 7000 for information before visiting the civic offices. Masks, sanitizers and other safety measures are required to enter the NADRA offices and the instructions given inside and outside the offices must be followed and safety distance must be maintained. ۔

The statement said that the validity of expired ID cards has been extended from September 2019 to June 30, 2020 till July 2020.

NADRA says that for the time being, citizens with new registration and biometric verification will be given preference while citizens should apply after May 15 to collect their identity cards.

It may be recalled that Sania Nishtar, Chairperson, Special Assistant to Prime Minister Imran Khan for Social Security and Awareness Program, had recently recommended the opening of NADRA offices.

At a meeting of the National Command and Operations Center, Sania Nishtar said that some people have problems with thumbprints and some people have lost their fathers but they are facing problems in getting money as their death certificates are not registered with NADRA. Yes, so rare offices should be opened.
