If the Olympics had to be postponed again, they would cancel: Tokyo Olympics chief

Yoshiro Mori, president of the Tokyo Olympics 2020 organizing committee, has said that if the 2021 Olympics have to be postponed again, it will be canceled.

The Corona virus has affected sports around the world, as well as economic activity.

This year's Olympics in the Japanese capital, Tokyo, have been postponed for a year and will now take place next year.

Yakin is still in danger of hosting the Tokyo Olympics in 2021, as expressed by Tokyo Olympics President Yoshiro Mori.

Asked by health experts if the 2021 Olympics would be held without the corona vaccine, Games President Yoshiro Mori said the Olympics would not be postponed again if the vaccine did not arrive, but would be canceled.

On the other hand, Yoshitake Yokokura, president of the Japan Medical Association, has said that it would be difficult to host the 2021 Tokyo Olympics without the corona vaccine.

"I'm not saying whether or not to host the Tokyo Olympics, but I'm saying it's going to be tough," he said.

It is to be noted that the corona virus is spreading rapidly in Japan once again for the prevention of which an emergency was declared across the country in recent days.
