The number of corona virus cases in Pakistan is increasing day by day and today after more new cases the total number of victims has reached 20130 while the death toll has reached 459.

Corona virus has been present in the country for more than two months and during this period the growth rate of cases in Pakistan was slow at first but later it has been increasing rapidly.

Since the first case of corona virus in the country on February 26, the total number of cases till March 31 was more than 2000, during which time there were 8 deaths.

However, since the beginning of April, there has been an increase in the number of cases of Corona epidemic and in just one month, ie till April 30, the number of victims in the country has crossed 16,000, while 359 deaths have also occurred in the same period.
After which the month of May started and now only 2 days have passed that the number of virus cases has increased from 18,000 and the death toll has crossed 400.

Today (May 3) also new cases of corona epidemic were reported in the country while the number of people recovering from the virus also increased.

Sindh
Another 363 cases of corona virus and 8 deaths were reported in Sindh.

Explaining the details of cases in the province, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said that 3032 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours in which the results of 363 were positive which brought the total number to 7465.

He said that 8 more people lost their lives in 24 hours, bringing the number to 130.

He also said that the number of recovery patients in the province has also increased by 214 and now a total of 1555 people have recovered.

Punjab

Another 640 cases and 6 deaths of corona virus were reported in Punjab.

A spokesman for primary and secondary healthcare said the total number of victims in the province since the new cases had risen to 7,494.

Elaborating on the cases, he said that there were 768 persons attached to the pilgrims' center, 1926 persons belonging to Raiwind, 4714 civilians and 86 prisoners.

According to the spokesman, after six more deaths in the province, the total number has reached 121 while the condition of 22 patients is critical.

Islamabad
Early morning figures confirmed 28 more cases in the federal capital, Islamabad.

The total number of cases in Islamabad rose from 365 to 393, according to Corona's official website.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Minister Timur Saleem Jhagra confirmed 222 new cases of corona, bringing the number of affected people in the province to 3,129.

Eight more patients have died in the province in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 180.

Gilgit-Baltistan
Similarly, 16 more cases of corona virus were confirmed in Gilgit-Baltistan.

After these new cases, the number of Corona victims in Gilgit-Baltistan also increased from 340 to 356.

Later, 8 more cases were confirmed after which the number of affected people in Gilgit-Baltistan has risen to 364.

Azad Kashmir
In addition, another person fell victim to the virus in Azad Kashmir.

Although Azad Kashmir is currently the least affected part of the country and the rate of increase in cases there is also low, but after a new case, the total number of victims in Azad Kashmir has reached 67.

Balochistan

The Balochistan Health Department confirmed 46 more cases of corona virus, bringing the total number of infected people in the province to 1,218.

The statement also confirmed two more deaths, bringing the death toll in Balochistan to 21.

Healthy people

Despite these cases, the encouraging thing for current patients is the speedy recovery of other victims.

As the number of cases in the country is increasing, so is the number of people recovering in the tens or even hundreds.

According to official figures, 361 more people in the country have recovered from the virus in the past 24 hours.

After which the total number of healthy people in the country became 5114.

The overall situation of the country
If we take a look at the overall situation of the country, there is not much difference between the cases of Sindh and Punjab at present.

The number of cases in Sindh is 7465 while in Punjab it is 7494.

Similarly, 3129 people have been affected in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa while the number has reached 1218 in Balochistan.

A total of 393 people have been affected by the new cases in Islamabad, while in Gilgit-Baltistan the number is 364.

In addition, 67 people have so far been infected with the virus in Azad Kashmir.

On the other hand, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been most affected in terms of deaths in the country.
