Prices of petroleum products are expected to fall by 31 liters from next month.
Petrol price can be reduced by Rs 22 and diesel by Rs 31 per liter.
Industry sources said that due to the fall in oil prices in the world market, the price of petrol in the country will also come down.

Earlier on March 24, Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday announced a reduction in petrol prices in Pakistan by up to Rs 15 per liter.
Addressing a press conference with his senior cabinet members, he said that the novel Corona virus is not the real threat, but the decisions that people are afraid of are a real threat.
Talking about the lock down, the Prime Minister said that the effects of the lockdown are more alarming than the corona virus.
"We have been working for the last 3 days to develop a stimulus package on how we can protect our industries, our businesses, our workers from the negative effects of this global epidemic. We have a lot of ideas in it,"
