Lahore News. April 29, 2020) Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar launched the Tiger Force in Punjab to help fight covid 19 epidemic diseases, sources said here on Wednesday.
He said that the Punjab Chief Minister formally launched the Tiger Force after the successful experiment of the newly formed force.
According to sources, the first batch of Tiger Force will be deployed at the Field Hospital in Sialkot. He said that Chief Minister Buzdar has also reviewed the medical facilities provided to Corona Field Hospitals in the fight against this epidemic.
The Chief Minister will also visit the Financial Aid Distribution Center under the Ehsaas Program where he will be briefed on the distribution of financial assistance.
He was also expected at the Child Protection Center, while a meeting chaired by the Chief Minister would be held in Sialkot to review the situation of corona virus, treatment arrangements, anti-dengue measures and wheat procurement drive.
It may be recalled that Prime Minister Imran Khan had announced the formation of a volunteer force, the Tiger Force, to provide rations to poor deserving families during a nationwide lockdown due to the corona virus.
