Employment cannot be snatched away for a long time, Smart Lock down has started: Asad Omar

Asad Omar, head of the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) and Federal Minister for Planning, has said that jobs cannot be taken away from the people in the long run. However, the smart lock down system has started working.

In his statement, Asad Omar said that he was happy that national decisions were being taken through consultation, major decisions had been taken in the current situation of Corona virus and now was the time to implement them.

He said that employment could not be snatched from the people for a long time, such a system was needed so that the wheel of the economy would turn and the people would be protected.

He said that instead of shutting down the entire country, specific areas affected by Corona would be closed, smart lockdown system has started working, smart lockdown has been done in 359 areas of Punjab and 177 areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The Federal Minister appealed to the people to get tested for corona symptoms when it appears, it is necessary for all as prevention of corona is the individual responsibility of every person.

It is to be noted that the number of corona cases in the country is increasing rapidly and so far 600 people have lost their lives while the number of infected patients has exceeded 30,000.

On the other hand, the ongoing lockdown in the country by the federal government is being phased out from May 9.
